Chapter 1: The Call of Fate

Song Ki-hoon sat on a park bench, looking at the children playing ball. He remembered how he had once been just as carefree. Now his life has turned into an endless series of debts and disappointments. Every day he woke up thinking about how to survive, how to pay off his creditors and regain the respect of his family. He felt lost, like a ship without a captain, drifting in a rough sea.
One day, when he was returning home, a stranger approached him and offered to play a simple game. "If you win, you'll get the money, if you lose, you won't lose anything," he said with a mysterious smile. Gi Hong agreed without hesitation. It was the beginning of his participation in a game that would change his life forever.

That evening, when he returned home, he couldn't get rid of the thought of the stranger's proposal. He remembered how he used to play similar games with friends as a child, and how it brought joy. But now everything has changed. He was alone, and his life depended on this chance. Gi Hong decided that he couldn't miss the opportunity to change his fate.

Chapter 2: The Game Begins

Gi Hong woke up in an unfamiliar place, surrounded by other participants. They were all wearing the same uniforms, and a message appeared on the screen in front of them.: "Welcome to the Squid Game." The participants began to exchange looks full of fear and bewilderment. The rules were explained to them: They will participate in a series of children's games, but with one important difference — the losers will be eliminated forever. Gi Hong felt his heart beat faster. He understood that this was not just a game, it was a struggle for life.

Chapter 3: The First Trials

The first game, "Red Light, Green Light," started with a sharp sound coming from the speakers. The participants standing in a row froze in place, their hearts pounding with fear and expectation. Gi Hong, standing next to Kang Sae Baek, felt his hands sweating. He was looking at a huge screen where an image of a giant doll appeared, which said, "Red light!" All the participants froze, but excitement and fear made some of them tremble.

When the Green Light sounded, the participants began to move, but Gi Hong was careful. He knew that any wrong move could cost him his life. Suddenly, when he took a step, he heard a sharp sound, and one of the participants, who was standing in front, fell to the ground. Gi Hong froze, realizing that the game was really deadly. Panic broke out around him: people were screaming, someone was trying to escape, but they were stopped. Gi Hong felt fear engulf him, but at the same time, a spark of determination ignited inside him. He couldn't afford to give up.

With each new round, the game became more intense. Gi Hong, watching the others, noticed how some of the participants began to panic, losing control of themselves. He remembered his debts and that he had no other choice. He had to survive. In the end, the game ended, and only a few participants were able to reach the finish line. Gi Hong took a deep breath and realized that he was still alive.

After the game, the participants were gathered in a large hall, where they were informed about the results. Gi Hong felt relieved when he saw that Sae Baek had also survived. They exchanged glances full of understanding and support. At that moment, they realized that they needed to unite in order to survive in this hell.

Chapter 4: Friends and Enemies
After the first game, Gi Hoon became friends with Kang Sae Baek and Old Man (Il Nam). They began to support each other, realizing that in the face of fierce competition they needed to unite. Gi Hong felt that he could be himself with them, and it gave him strength. Old Man, despite his age, turned out to be wise and experienced, and his advice helped other participants.

However, their group also included Cho Sung-woo, an ambitious businessman who began to show aggression and a willingness to betray for the sake of victory. He was full of confidence and was always looking for ways to get around the other participants. Gi Hong felt that he could not be trusted, but at the same time he understood that one had to be careful in the conditions of the game. Sung Woo began to manipulate the other members, creating tension in the group.

One day, when they were discussing the strategy for the next game, Song Woo proposed a risky plan that could lead to victory, but could also endanger the lives of others. Gi Hong, feeling that this was unethical, began to argue with him. "We can't sacrifice others for our own benefit!" "What is it?" he exclaimed. Sung Woo only grinned in response, and Gi Hong realized that his moral principles were being tested.

Sae Bek, watching the conflict, tried to intervene. "We should be working together, not against each other," she said, but tension was building in the group. Gi Hong understood that no one could be trusted in this game except those who were really willing to support him.
